About This Quote

This quote is a reference to the widely held but mistaken belief that the brain is only capable of taking in and storing information. In other words, we have no free will. Rather, our brain is supposed to only take in and store information, leaving all thoughts and actions up to our own free will. But this quote tells us that this is not the case. In fact, almost everything we think, feel and do is the result of our own decisions and decisions we make based on beliefs we've acquired through experience.
